The one-hour radio documentary and companion Web site will take listeners to the battlegrounds and refugee camps that shape the lives of millions of children around the globe. Listeners will hear about child soldiers, children fleeing conflict, and the physical and psychological rehabilitation of children touched by war.
Also, there will be surprising reports about teenage recruits in the British army and the danger depleted uranium ammunition poses for children, plus the latest policy developments. Charlayne Hunter-Gault, CNN's Johannesburg bureau chief and correspondent, hosts and reports for the radio documentary.
