The Stanley Foundation |
The Stanley Foundation is a private operating foundation working toward a secure peace with freedom and justice. The foundation pursues this mission through diverse programs that are intended to provoke thought and encourage dialogue on international relations and world affairs. Since 1980 the Stanley Foundation has produced Common Ground, radio's weekly program on world affairs. More than 100 stations carry the program each week. Common Ground co-hosts Keith Porter and Kristin McHugh contributed segments to the documentary. "Children of War" is the foundation's fourth major radio documentary. The foundation released the Russia Project in December 2001 on the 10th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the Iran Project in January of 2001 to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the release of the American hostages from Iran. In spring 2000, the Stanley Foundation partnered with American RadioWorks™ to produce the two-hour radio documentary "Revisiting Vietnam." The foundation plans to produce additional special radio and Web projects on international affairs. Visit the foundation's Web site at stanleyfoundation.org. The Stanley Foundation |
